Opening Hours
The reception area is open from 8.00 am to 6.30 pm Monday to Friday. We are closed at weekends and on all public holidays.

Out of hours :If you or your family need urgent medical care when the surgery is closed, please phone 111. One surgery in the area is offering appointments at weekends. If you call 111 they should be able to direct you to the surgery offering this service.

The best time to call the surgery for advice is after morning clinics, usually between 11.30 and 12 noon. If the doctor you wish to speak to is still busy they will call you back, provided you leave a phone number, preferably a land line.

The surgery is able to accept new patients who live in our practice area.

Every two months (but sometimes more often) the practice will be closed on  a Tuesday afternoon to allow protected staff training time. We need to  do this to keep up with changes and developments which affect the practice.  On these afternoons the phones will be switched off for up to five hours, reception may be closed, and any urgent needs will be directed to the out of hours service

The next date is in February 2018

Please try our automated arrivals screen next time you come in for an appointment?!

Our current registrar is  Dr Eylem Hannan, but she is going on maternity leave in the middle of March 2018... we wish her well with the new arrival

The health visitors' baby clinic  at Sherwood Health Centre is  on  Tuesdays at 12 noon

Sexual Health checks are available, Please look up under clinics and services
