Travel Information

If you require any vaccinations relating to foreign travel you need to make an appointment with the practice nurse to discuss your travel arrangements.  Our reception staff will ask you to complete a form about your intended travel (dates, places you are visiting). The nurses can then check this to see what vaccines you require and prepare any travel advice you may need.

Travel Risk Assessment Form

It is important to make your  initial appointment as early as possible  - at least 6 weeks before you travel - as a second appointment may be required with the practice nurse to actually receive the vaccinations.  These vaccines may have to be ordered as they are not all kept in stock.  Your second appointment needs to be at least 2 weeks before you travel to allow the vaccines to work.

If you leave it too close to your travel date to try and get an appointment we may not be able to help you, and you may find you will need to ask for your vaccinations from a travel clinic elsewhere in  Nottingham
